WWII Reproduction Shaving Kit

$14.95

Faithful reproduction of the typical shaving kits given to soldiers by Gillette, the American Red Cross, and many other organizations. They gave these to the soldiers from World War I through World War II.  Our version is made with our own custom khaki fabric glued over fiberboard.  The khaki fabric is glued on well, and will take splashing from the sink, although I would not soak it completely underwater!    The black elastic bands give you the flexibility for all types of two-part double edged razors, and will stretch to accommodate any type of blade box.  The straps are securely sewn in, providing a nice secure place for razor blades, the head of the double edged razor, and the shaft of the razor.  Two fabric flaps go over the sides, and the top is snapped closed with military spec Dot snaps made by the wartime manufacturer Scoville.  The shaving kit closed is 4″ long, 2-1/2″ wide, and 1-1/8″ tall. These type of razors are available sometimes in antique shops, estate sales, or on-line. Occasionally we will feature these vintage razors on our website, and frequently we carry new double edged razors which will fit the case we make.  The shaving kit here does not include razor or blades.
