U.S. NCO Military Overcoat, Korean War or early Vietnam War OD Sateen Fabric

$39.00

This is a U.S. military overcoat, likely from the Korean War or early Vietnam War era, given its OD (Olive Drab) sateen fabric and double-breasted trench coat design. These overcoats were issued to non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and officers for cold-weather wear over uniforms. The missing insignia stitching suggests that it was worn by a corporal or sergeant at some point. There is indication insignia was sewn on, either a corporal or sergeant. The marks where the stitching was on the sleeves is minimal.

The approximate date range for this style would be the 1950s to 1970s. The lack of a liner could indicate that it was either issued without one or that the liner was removed. The belt with a fabric-covered metal buckle is a standard feature of military trench coats from this period. Over all condition is very good, size Medium Long.
