Gas Brassards – Paper SECONDS – Blemished

Original price was: $7.95.Current price is: $4.00.

Paper Gas Brassard.  Exactly like the originals but without the chemical in the paint to detect poison gas!  These were used on D-Day with the invasion troops, British, American First Infantry Division, and the 101st Airborne.  It would turn pink if there was poison gas present, and give the soldiers time to put on their gas masks.  Made out of paper, they really are a one-use item.  We do sell a fabric version with the same great look, and that will last many events.  However if you want authenticity, or are setting up a display, then this version is spot-on to the originals. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE SECONDS- Or brassards with sewing issues, wrinkles, or otherwise not perfect. HOWEVER these are all FUNCTIONAL, and if you have one on at a reenactment, nobody is likely to notice! The flaws are usually stitching, like when the shop cat jumps on my neck and a nice weave is in the stitching instead of a straight line. Or a hang up in the thread and we have to pull it all out. Pretty minor stuff really. Every one of them is different, so can’t take a picture to represent. Anyway, at this price, you can’t really go wrong as long as you are not picky. If you are, then get our first-run brassards from the other listing.
