Flight Handbook -Navy Model TF-1 Aircraft – Dated 1956

$29.95

Original 1956 Flight Handbook for the Navy Model TF-1 Aircraft, published by direction of the Chief of the Bureau of Aeronautics. This manual includes an Interim Revision No. 5 dated August 29, 1956, with critical updates for carrier operations and procedural changes for shipboard takeoffs. The handbook provides detailed flight procedures, weight and trim charts, and operational guidance for pilots flying the TF-1, a transport aircraft used by the U.S. Navy.

This copy includes original service record forms, orders, and additional documentation, copies of a quiz the pilots had to take, and some notes from the officer that went through it. The manual is 102 pages long and in good condition, with some expected wear from age. These types of documents were typically restricted at the time and are now sought after by aviation historians, collectors, and military enthusiasts. If you don’t have a TF-1 sitting on your tarmac, it’s a pretty cool piece of aviation history if you are into that. The handbook is in good condition, the quiz copies are pretty old, but still in decent shape. These were folded, and are creased pretty heavy, but not mildew stained or nasty or anything like that.
